The End of the 2025 Season
Now, officially, the baseball season is over. The result wasn’t what I NEVER wanted — the Dodgers won the World Series two years in a row.
As a Giants fan, I was really frustrated watching yesterday’s Game 7. Frankly, I was mad. But as a baseball fan, I’m very used to residing in such a miserable place. And moreover, I still can’t find "any" reason to believe the Dodgers won a rigged title. They deserved it.
There were many moments where the Jays could have grasped the title, but they missed it by a tiny, unfortunate margin. And the Dodgers seized their slight chance—and made it happen. That’s baseball. And that’s why I love this game. (I might say this many times) It reminds us how life works: life is messy, we live with small regrets, we often let things go. Yes, they were just misfortune. A large part of our life is actually determined by luck. However, we always have to do our best. That’s the only way we can compete with our fate, with the unpredictability that luck brings, and make our own story.
I want to see that obsession and passion in our team again. I hope our new manager Vitello can make it happen.
