Tweetbot

I quit using Twitter this past month mainly due to the guy (you know); I had been using Tweetbot for a Twitter client at the time. Tweetbot is a beautiful 3rd-party Twitter client. It shows tweets chronologically and... doesn't show any ads(!). I thought there would be no future for Tweetbot in his reign; it must be an existential threat to the guy.

And... it seems to be happening. Several reports are saying that Twitter API appeared to be down, which made all 3rd-party Twitter clients go on the fritz. Though it is unclear whether this was an outage or intentional action, I wouldn't be surprised when it gets permanent. Probably, I just acted a little faster in the proper timeline. I hope the Tweetbot guys don't get too much damage, and they'll come with an excellent Mastodon client.
